San Marcos

San Marcos offers incredible opportunities for education, shopping, outdoor recreation and much, much more.  It is the county seat for Hays County and home to Texas State University, the third largest university in the state of Texas.  There is a wide range of housing options, including many apartments and homes for rent near campus.  As you move away from the central part of town, there are some great choices of neighborhoods with a variety of options from homes on city  lots to homes with acreage and Hill Country views.

Where is San Marcos?

San Marcos is located on I-35  thirty miles south of Austin and fifty miles north of San Antonio.  It is a great town for commuting because of the easy access to the interstate and the new loop between I-35 and RR 12 to Wimberley.
